Hannah’s Home in Tequesta is reaching a major milestone with the construction of two new duplex cottages, part of a larger expansion to support young mothers in need. With a vision to provide safety, stability, and resources, the project will increase capacity from eight to 21 residents, giving women a path toward independence. The initiative is led by a committee chaired by former Tequesta Mayor Abby Brennan, with key support from Nick Mastroianni II, founder of the Mastroianni Family Foundation and newly appointed board member. Mastroianni’s commitment to Hannah’s Home spans years, from sponsoring fundraising galas to providing emergency housing during hurricanes. This expansion comes at a critical time, as the Home receives over 200 calls annually from women seeking help.
